Chinese Style Fried Mifen

I missed my mum's fried mifen, so tried to replicate her cooking....;p Not exactly the same (of course not same la since we're not the same ma ;p), but taste great too :)



Ingredients:
Mifen (soaked in water until soft)
Carrot (cut into thin strips)
Cabbage (shredded)
Chicken meat (minced/cut into small pieces)
Onion (cut into thin strips)
Garlic (chopped)
Dark Soy Sauce
Light Soy Sauce
Salt
Pepper
Oil
Water


Method:
1. Marinate chicken meat with light soy sauce and pepper. Leave aside for 30min.
2. Heat a little oil in a wok or non-stick pan. Saute garlic and onion till fragrant.
3. Add chicken meat and stir fry for 1-2min.
4. Add in carrot and cabbage. Stir fry for 1-2min. Season with salt.
5. Add in mifen.
6. Add dark soy sauce and mix evenly.
7. Continue to stir fry for 2-3min and add in water if it gets dry….and it’s done!
* Add light soy sauce and mix well if you find it not salty enough (optional).
