Apple Salad

I simply love this salad. It’s so idiot-proof and easy to prepare.

Ingredients:
Red apples
Marigold low fat yoghurt (peach flavour)
Raisins

* You can use any kind of yoghurt and flavour but I find Marigold yoghurt is better than Nestle’s (too diluted). I use peach flavour because it’s my fav!

** Other fruits such as honeydew, pears, strawberries, etc can also be added.

Method:

1. Cut apples into small bite size pieces.
2. Put the apples into a bowl and mix in the yoghurt.
3. Add in the raisins.
4. Mix well. Serve chilled.

I used mayonnaise instead of yogurt for this salad, I will try yogurt in the future, it is healthier. My mom has a apple potato salad which she likes a lot, you can give it a try if interested:
. Potatoes, cooked
. Apple
. Hard boiled eggs
. Mixed vegetables (you can buy this in supermarket, frozen mixed vegetables in bag, with carrots, green peas, corns), cooked
. Mayonnaise
. Pepper and salt to taste
. Anything that comes to your mind

Cut potatoes, apples, hard boiled eggs in cubes. Mix everything together. You can add some Dijon mustard if you like.

Thanks for sharing! I'll try this some day and maybe prepare it during one of the Sundays for refreshment item in church :)

I made a mistake about the recipe, you want to mash the potatoes, not cutting them into cubes.
